Collection and use of personal data

If you want to use our services, you may be asked for some personal data, such as your first and last name, address, e-mail address, telephone number and mobile number. We may also ask for other data which we need to deliver the service, such as specific preferences and requirements related to the service concerned. The personal data is stored for up to 10 years after a person has ceased to be our customer.

Security Service Layer as data controller

Security Service Layer acts as a data controller for the identification and contact data of the customer’s contact persons which is collected by Security Service Layer in order to fulfill our sales, invoicing, customer care and related activities.

Security Service Layer as data processor

Security Service Layer acts as a data processor whenever it processes personal data at the customer’s request. Customers are acting as the controller with regards to the processing are obligated to inform the end-users about the processing of personal data by Security Service Layer.

We process the following personal data in tools made available by Security Service Layer (eg: GDPR Central):

  • Personal data stored by the customer or end users.
  • Identification data to provide access to a tool made available by Security Service Layer.
  • Other personal data related to actions that must be completed in order to deliver the tool or service

We will store this personal data for the duration of the service.

Tools made available by Security Service Layer are hosted on AWS, which is acting as a processor. The data is hosted inside the EEA.
